AJS was a British motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1909 by Albert John Stevens and his brother Harold, in Wolverhampton. The company first made motorcycles with engines purchased from other manufacturers and then, from 1912 onwards, built their own proprietary engines. In 1938, AJS merged with Matchless to form Associated Motorcycles. Although the AJS name continued to be used until 1966, the company was effectively absorbed by Matchless, and the Stevens brothers had no further involvement with the business. Today, AJS motorcycles are highly prized by collectors, and the company's logo - a stylized bird of prey - is recognized around the world as a symbol of British engineering excellence. Our AJS t-shirt celebrates this great marque, with a design that captures the iconic logo in all its retro glory. Made from 100% cotton for a soft and comfortable fit, it's the perfect way to show your love for classic British motorcycles.
